Roy Pace

Roy Pace has been playing and teaching this game since the 1960’s. He puts a lot of energy and passion into helping each student get better at Golf. Roy played college golf at Louisiana Tech where he won the Gulf States Conference individual title three times. He joined the PGA Tour in 1964 and played on the PGA Tour for ten years. He won the Magnolia Classic in 1971. Roy became the Golf Professional at Wee Burn CC in Darien, CT in 1976 and was there through 1999. He is now the co-owner of Alpine Target Golf and spends most of his time instructing golfers of all abilities. He started The First Tee of The Piney Woods five years ago and serves as president of the chapter. Roy has partnered with Ted Sheftic for 20 years in The Pace Sheftic Golf School in Vero Beach, Florida. Ted is a Top 100 Teacher in America by Golf Magazine. He has received a number of awards through the years and still teaches with the same energy that he did years ago. He reaches out to golfers of all ages and abilities. He has had a lot of success with his students through the years.

 

MIKE WILLIAMS Mike is  very dedicated to teaching the game of golf. He has been teaching for the past 30 year’s and during this time has taught over 5000 students. He has seen every golf swing possible! He was the Head Professional and Golf Course Superintendent at Alpine Golf Course from 1976 to 1998. In 1996 he designed and partnered with Roy Pace and Chuck Williams to build Alpine Target Golf Center and The Divine Nine a full scale Teaching and Practice facility. Mike’s love and commitment to the game allows him to take beginners or advanced player’s to the next level. He is a PGA Professional and has numerous awards.

 


SANDY PACE Sandy oversees all  of  the financial  and bookkeeping for Alpine Target Golf and The First Tee. You’ll also see her in the Pro Shop.
